Property & Development Law (PD Law) are extremely proud to be announced as one of four finalists in the National ALPMA/ Telstra Thought Leadership Awards 2014.
The Australian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) Telstra Thought Leadership Awards shine a light on innovative projects and initiatives conducted by firms across the legal sector over the last 12 months in response to the changing legal landscape. This is the second year the Awards have been held and sponsored by Telstra.
Property and Development Law is leading the way for regional law firms in embracing technology to deliver improved and streamlined client services via a mobile application and client portal providing access to online documents and other important information, developed by Red Rain.
“The PD Law staff are now enjoying a fresh approach and more collaborative relationship with the client,” Melinda Cox, CEO at Property and Development Law said.
“Clients are engaged from the moment the business starts work on their matter and are therefore gaining the benefit of a more informed process. Improved client engagement has had a positive impact on costs by reducing time spent and therefore increasing capacity”, she said.
Clients involved in the roll out of the mobile application have been very enthusiastic and it has been extremely well received by those people working shifts who cannot always gain access to information during work hours.
“All critical information and dates are all stored in one place and can be downloaded, the mobile app makes it convenient and flexible as it is operational 24/7”.
The winner of the award will be announced at the gala dinner at the 2014 ALPMA Summit in Melbourne on the 28 August.
