Hi, I’m Courtney.
I had been living in Airlie Beach from the age of 3 and consider myself a local. After high school, I moved around Queensland a lot from Townsville, to Toowoomba, to Gatton and then to the Gold Coast.
After living on the Gold Coast for 12 months, my partner and I agreed the lifestyle Airlie Beach had to offer was better suited to us. My partner loves boats and is an avid fisherman, and I have a love of horses. Over the years our collection of boats and horses has grown, and Airlie Beach is one of the few places we can have both our hobbies right in our backyard!
Why PD Law?
I have worked in finance for 15 years and first started by doing bookwork for small businesses. After gaining further experience in the industry, I moved into an office/finance management role for a number of years before starting at PD Law.
In 2018, I started working at PD Law as the Finance Manager, where I manage financial and administration activities & procedures, oversee preparation of financial records relating to general ledger, budget, expense, etc, manage payroll, prepare & lodge BAS and Superannuation ad also maintain the trust accounting records.
My favourite part of working at PD Law is the amazing team of people I work with. It is such a supportive work environment, and we have a lot of fun whilst achieving great outcomes for our clients.
How would you describe your approach?
As the Finance Manager my role is more behind the scenes than client based. However, when dealing with clients regarding invoicing or trust statements I aim to be friendly and approachable.
