Hi, I’m Colleen.

I moved to Bowen in the 80’s to follow family and for a change of pace.  I quickly fell in love with the area and lifestyle, (along with a local lad) and I have called this beautiful town home since.

Prior to my conveyancing career I was employed in various administrative roles in the Bowen area in between raising my two sons. Around 9 years ago I fell into conveyancing when I obtained employment at a local firm. At the time I didn’t even know what conveyancing was! I quickly developed a love for it and these days I am happy to say I really enjoy my work.

Why law?

In 2021 I received an opportunity for a change of pace to join the PD Law team in their newly established Bowen office. PD Law’s processes and approach to conveyancing really impressed me and I was grateful for the opportunity to join a team of such exceptional people so that I could continue to develop my skills and offer my clients the personable and sensible service I always have.

How would you describe your approach?

Buying and selling property can be one of the most stressful things you will ever do in your life. Often people are uprooting their families, starting new jobs, schools and at least one aspect of your move should be seamless. This is where I come in.  I adopt a sensible, empathetic approach to my work because I appreciate how difficult this point in your life is.  Sometimes the process throws us curve balls, but I guide my clients as best and efficiently as I can.

It’s important to me to ensure I offer the level of attention & care to my clients that I would like to receive if I was in their shoes. I hold myself to a very high standard with attention to detail. I also have the support of a great team of professionals whose knowledge and experience in the purchase or sale of property is second to none.
