Bernice Anning – Senior Lawyer

Bernice has over 25 years’ experience as a solicitor in Brisbane, North Queensland and the Gold Coast. As well as completing a year as a Judge’s clerk, Bernice also completed the prestigious Leo Cousins Institute advocacy course in Melbourne. During her legal training and as a solicitor, Bernice has been employed by leading firms in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Cairns where she also became an Executive member of the Far North Queensland Law Society, as well as being appointed on a recommendation of her Cairns colleagues, as a board member to the Queensland Parole Board. In 2001 Bernice established her own law firm initially in suburban Brisbane and later in the CBD, dealing in areas substantially including Family Law, Criminal Law, Domestic Violence, Child Safety. She also regularly represents clients at various mediations and employs collaborative measures to endeavour to shorten or streamline the matter for the client, while keeping costs down.
